Greatest American Dog is a reality show on CBS. In this series, owners and their dogs throughout the nation compete for the title. The contestants range from mutts to pure breads. Not only will the dogs be tested, but the owners' patience and ability to train will also be put on the line. The winner will receive $250,000. The program premiered July 10, 2008.
