Great Storm of 1900

The Great Storm of 1900, the deadliest natural disaster in United States so far, hit Texas on September 8, 1900. About 8,000 people died in the disaster. The category 4 hurricane's greatest damage was in the city Galveston. Most of the city was destroyed.
