The Great American Bash is an annual professional wrestling event held by World Wrestling Entertainment. 2008 will the mark the fifth "Bash" event under the WWE banner. The event originally began in 1985 under the National Wrestling Alliance promotion. The event was then held by World Championship Wrestling from 1991 to 2000.
