Grease is a musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey that follows the trials and tribulations of students at Rydell High as they deal with love, gang violence, teen pregnancy and friendship in 1950s Chicago. The original production debuted in 1971. The film version of Grease was released in 1978 and starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton John.
