Grease was released in theaters on June 16, 1978 and produced by Allan Carr, Robert Stigwood and Neil A. Machlis. Grease is based on the Broadway musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. Grease was filmed at Venice High School in Venice, California, staring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
Plot
Squeaky clean good girl Sandy meets rebel bad boy Danny and they fall in love during summer vacation. Later they find out they are both attending the same high school. Sandy tries to fit into Danny's style, dressing like a bad girl, while Danny does the same for her, dressing like a preppy book worm.
