Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Walkthrough - Introduction
The game starts with an introductory cinematic sequence. You follow lead character Carl (CJ) Johnson, who arrives back at Los Santos after an extended period away living in Liberty City. On your way home, you meet a group of crooked cops, led by Officer Tenpenny. After they dump you off in an alley, you assume control.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Walkthrough - Introduction
- Head down the alley towards the bicycle, pressing Y to hop on.
- Exit the alley and turn right, heading south. Follow the icon marked "CJ" on the radar at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
- Turn left at the next major street, crossing over the train tracks.
- Make the first right after crossing the tracks.
- Head straight and make a quick left before crossing over the bridge.
- Once you come to a dead end, make the next right and head straight -- crossing over the bridge.
- Make a left at the foot of the bridge. Almost immediately, you'll see a small alleyway. Head down that alley and you'll come out right on the cul de sac.
- Turn the corner and head toward the red marker. Welcome to Grove Street.
