Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories was the first installment of the Grand Theft Auto series to appear on the Sony PSP. A PS2 version followed the PSP release. The game is similar to other games in the series, in that it is an open-world action-adventure that includes shooting and driving elements.
Storyline
Set in Liberty City, the same setting for both Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto IV, Liberty City Stories has players take on the role of Tony Cipriani. Tony is a thug for hire who has been laying low for a few years, but is looking to get back into the game. Tony appeared in Grand Theft Auto III, and Liberty City Stories gives the player his background story.Wikipedia: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
Gameplay
Just like the majority of the games in the Grand Theft Auto series, Liberty City Stories is a open-world game, where the players can choose to take on missions that progress the story, or they can simply wander around in the world doing whatever they want. The game is primarily a third-person action game, but also includes elements of shooting and driving as well.Wikipedia: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
