The Grand Theft Auto IV Uncle Vlad mission introduces players to executions. Executions are an assassination that takes place with the use of a pistol. At the end of the execution, a cutscene is triggered. In this mission, Roman learns that his girlfriend has been cheating on him with Vladimir Glebov. Niko and Roman are going to execute Vlad as a result. Roman is reluctant to participate in the execution out of fear of retaliation from Mikhail Faustin, Vlad's boss

• Take a fast car to the taxi depot to meet up with Roman. You will need this for a quick getaway later.
  
• Roman learns that Mallorie has been secretly dating Vlad, and is quite upset. 
• Niko suggests they head over to Comrades Bar and confront Vlad directly.
• Roman thinks this is a bad idea because Vlad's men will exact retribution in return.
• After the cutscene, get into your car with Roman.
• Drive to Comrades Bar.
• When you arrive, Vlad escapes out the back door.
• Take out his associates with a handgun.
• Run out the front door.
• Get in your car with Roman as Vlad drives past and follow him through Hove Beach.
• When he gets to the docks, Vlad crashes his car and runs off.
• Niko orders Roman to remain where he is. 
• Get the pistol out.
• Confront Vlad Glebov to trigger a cutscene.
• At its end, you are prompted to execute Vlad.
• After you shoot him, a cutscene displaying a bloody death scene displays. 
• The cutscene continues for a while. Roman confronts Niko about his past. Niko finally shares his war story and lets on tha tone of the men he was with in the war resides in Liberty City.
• After they talk, they dump Vlad's body into the river.
• If you are playing the Xbox 360 version of the game, this earns you the Fed The Fish achievement. Successful completion also unlocks the Crime and Punishment mission.
