  • About the Game

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is the first game in the Grand Theft Auto series of games to be released on the Nintendo DS. The game is set in Liberty City, the same setting as Grand Theft Auto IV, but Chinatown Wars will have an entirely different story. The game is fully 3D and is expected to take advantage of touch screen controls for things like breaking windshields, hot wiring cars and tattooing friends. Even though the game will appear on the kid-friendly DS, Rockstar says they won't water down the content because of the platform. The game is scheduled for release on March 17, 2009.IGN: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Preview
