Deconstruction for Beginners is the first Grand Theft Auto IV mission from Playboy X. He needs to clear a construction site of all Union (Mafia Messina Family) personnel to impress a real estate developer, Yusuf Amir. X hopes that this act will prove that he means business, and that the two will be able to forge a business alliance. Niko will need to take out all of the guards watching the building.

• Get a car.
  
• Drive Playboy X to the Castle Gardens construction site in Algonquin.
• Head to the alley and get into the van.
• Follow Playbox X up to the elevator platform at the side of the building.
• Use the controls to navigate the elevator up to the roof.
• Check out the view.
• Take out your sniper rifle.
• Use it to take out the three lookouts on the crane.
• Go back down the elevator.
• Continue to the construction site.
• Use the AK-47's auto-target to take out the group of a half a dozen union guys who are charging at you.
• Continue to make your way through the construction site after they are all dead.
• Take out the next group of guys you see.
• Work your way up to the top floor and kill whoever you find there.
• Move forward and take out the next union guy behind the concrete cover.
• His underlings also need to be killed.
• Walk around the corner.
• Take out whoever you see from a distance.
• Take cover.
• Take out the third leader at the other side of the roof.
• Turn the corner and face a mob of twenty or so.
• Take them out with the AK-47.
• The final union leader will be trying to escape on the ladder.
• Take him out with a final shot.
• Get a $6,500 reward, and unlock Photo Shoot and Ruff Rider for successful completion.
