Politics
- Target: Uncle Stubbs
- Reward: $2800
- Once you walk up to the club, a cutscene will play. After a rather... revealing speech, Tom Stubbs will give you a mission to kill his uncle by 2:30.
- 5min.com: GTAIV - TLAD - Stubbs - Politics (Time: 2:52)
- You will have control of Johnny again outside with a rocket launcher. Get on your bike and start heading towards the airport.
- As you ride southeast towards the airport, Stubbs will send you a text offering you two choices on the assassination. You can either blow up the chopper as it lands, or take out the convoy as they leave the airport.
- We found it easiest to ride to the marker, get out and quickly shoot down all of the security guards in front of the gate.
- Quickly switch to the rocket launcher and blow up any police vehicles near by.
- As the chopper lands, you can easily blow it up with a well-timed rocket.
- Once Uncle Stubbs is dead, you will be locked inside of the airport. Fortunately, Tom has a man on the inside that will let you out of the southwest gate.
- Find a vehicle and follow the yellow marker on your radar.
- After reaching the gate, you will have a clear path out of the police radius.
- The mission ends once you have lost the cops.
Off Route
- Target: LCPD
- Reward: $5000
- As you find out in the cutscene, Tom Stubbs would like you to "liberate" some people from a prison transport bus.
- 5min.com: GTAIV - TLAD - Stubbs - Off Route (Time: 7:55)
- Make your way west to the yellow destination marker where the bus is.
- A cutscene will play as you approach the marker. Your next goal is to take control of the bus.
- The easiest way to do this is to run to the left of the police gatehouse. There will be a little rasied grassy area that you can climb up on. Do this and run forward until you reach the fence into the police yard.
- Fortunately, Johnny is a skilled climber and can scale this fairly tall fence if you press the X button.
- Make a beeline for the right side of the prison bus as it faces forward. Quickly press Y to initiate a cutscene.
- NOTE: You may be shot by cops as you run towards the bus. However, if you are quick about it, you shouldn't take much damage before the cutscene starts.
- The next phase of the mission is fairly difficult. You will have to lose a 3 star wanted rating in a very slow moving bus.
- When you have control again, you will be driving the bus. Make an immediate left and ram through the gates.
- NOTE: While the bus is very slow, it is also very heavy and can absorb a lot of damage. You shouldn't be deterred by police car roadblocks, as you can simply plow through them as if you were in a tank.
- TIP: The best way to lose the cops is by heading into the heart of Algonquin, where you can take side streets to get out of the police line of sight. As soon as you leave the police station, set a waypoint to the internet cafe in the center of Algonquin. Look ahead on your radar and try to anticipate police cars in front of you who will try to cut you off. Take a side street to avoid the police radius recentering around you.
- Once you have lost the cops, it's a simple matter of driving to the yellow waypoint at the south docks. If you used our internet cafe waypoint strategy, you will already be halfway to your destination.
- The mission ends once you take the bus there.
- After this mission, Stubbs will give you a call. You will be able to call him for odd jobs to make some money on the side.
Get Lost
- Target: Billy Grey
- Reward: $7000
- After you finish Ray's last mission, Stubbs will give you a call to meet you at the Lost headquarters. Head there to start the mission.
- 5min.com: GTAIV - TLAD - Stubbs - Get Lost (Time: 7:59)
- Sounds like Billy is squealing to the Feds. Good thing you still have Stubbs as a friend.
- Ride to the prison in southeast Alderney.
- NOTE: No need to call Terry's gun van before this mission, you'll find out why in a few minutes.
- Once you reach the yellow marker, Johnny will call the Lost and Terry will show up with his gun van. You'll have free reign over all of the equipment inside. It won't cost you a dime, so stock up on anything and everything. Make sure you pick up a body armor, rocket launcher, and fill up on ammo for all of your weapon classes.
- After you are stocked up, switch to your rocket launcher and blow the front doors of the prison. Immediately switch to your assault rifle, as armed guards will start rushing you.
- TIP: You don't really have to take cover if you are confident in your shooting abilities. Make sure you are in aiming mode and keep your distance from the guards. The Lost will do a good job of distracting their fire so you can do what you have to do.
- Clear out all of the guards in the initial courtyard. Be aware to not shoot at your Lost brethren as some may want to rush in front of you.
- Turn left and head for the corner. More guards will show up as you get close. Take them out, but be aware of the sniper on the roof high above you after you make the turn.
- Clear out the remaining guards behind the vans and proceed forward.
- You'll see the recreation yard on your right. Another large group of guards will be stationed beyond the chain link fence, so be prepared to mow them down.
- When the area is clear, proceed to the yellow marker to continue inside the prison yard.
- A short cutscene will play, as helicopters full of police descend upon the yard. Fortunately, you won't have to fight the choppers, just the masses of guards they drop off.
- Once you have control of Johnny again, you'll be under cover and under fire.
- The first thing you want to do is start thinning out the masses in front of you. Equip your pipebombs and start lobbing them in every which direction.
- TIP: Remember, you don't have to aim with your left stick to throw pipebombs. Simply hold down RT to cook them a little, and then aim with your right stick. Let go to throw it.
- After a few pipebombs, switch back to your assault rifle and start working on the snipers up above. A few bursts should take each one down, so work your way along the line.
- NOTE: Remember that there will be a guard near the little glass outpost on the top.
- Although it may seem like the enemies are endless, keep your cool and continue firing at them. With luck, you won't take too much damage.
- TIP: If you need more body armor, you can grab a new suit next to the center pillar in front of you. Make sure you have a clear shot at it before running out into the open.
- Eventually, Johnny will order Terry and Clay to get the bikes and a new red dot will appear on your screen. This is Billy.
- Kill any remaining guards, then get out of cover and head towards your right.
- Pull out your pistol and lock onto Billy. Pull the trigger to start the execution cutscene.
- With Billy down, run back out to Terry and Clay and get on your bike. Follow them out of the prison yard and your wanted rating will vanish.
- Lead your gang back to headquarters to end the mission.
- Congratulations, you have finished the main story missions for Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned!
- ACHIEVEMENT: Easy Rider should unlock after the credits sequence.
