Throughout the single-player campaign in Grand Theft Auto IV, you can take Michelle out on dates to various locations throughout Liberty City including bowling alleys, restaurants and bars. As you take Michelle out on more dates, she becomes more comfortable and fond of you. After each date, you are given the option to either "press your luck," by suggesting she invite you in for "coffee," or to simply drop her off and leave. Some of the date options, such as bowling and pool, activate mini-games in which you compete with Michelle.

1. Be careful not to wreck Michelle's vehicle.
2. Be sure not to attack anyone while on a date.

The Grand Theft Auto series of games has always been followed by controversery in relation to its explicit content. The most famous controversy came in the form of the "Hot Coffee" mod of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which allowed the player to participate in a graphic sex scene. This mod got extensive coverage not only in the gaming enthusiast press, but in the mainstream press as well. In Grand Theft Auto IV, there's an achievement entitled "Warm Coffee", which is awarded for getting a girl to invite you upstairs. What happens after is left up to the player's imagination. First Date: When you are given the option to do so, go to Michelle's apartment to start the date mission. Your first date with her will be a date to the carnival, which Niko calls the "funfair." When you get arrive, she tells you that she wants to go bowling. Go to the Bowling Alley, and walk up to the desk to start a game.

Use L to position yourself left to right in front of the bowling lane. Press A when you're ready to proceed to the next phase. To throw the ball, push R down and up, faster or slower depending on how hard to want to throw the ball. Use R to add an angle to the ball while its in the process of rolling down the lane. Press Y to check your score at any time. After the game, take Michelle home. At this point, you can now date Michelle. She will call you occasionally to arrange dates, or you can also call her to go on a date.

Second Date Michelle calls for a second date. Make your way to Michelle's house and pick her up. Remember you can always click a location on the map, and it will create a way-point and generate a route for you, highlighted in green.

For the second date, you can take Michelle to any available date location on your map. This walkthrough will talk about most of these, and in no particular order. You can take Michelle to a bar for your second date, which is located north of Michelle's house. To enter the bar, you have to walk through the front entrance, through the archway facing the street. After you enter the bar and order drinks, the scene changes, and the date is over. You'll be very drunk, stumbling every which way. The controls become less responsive, and the screen gets blurry while you're drunk.

Driving in this condition is challenging. Be careful not to wreck the car with Michelle inside. In order to be safe, you can opt into taking a cab home instead, if you'd like. To do so, press LB when you see a cab, and when it stops, press and hold down Y to get in the back. You can choose your destination from there.

When you arrive at Michelle's house, you can press your luck by asking to come inside. She may turn Niko down, but will most likely give him a kiss goodnight.

Third Date On the the third date, you can choose to take Michelle anywhere again. Perhaps you would like to take her out to a restaurant in town. When you arrive at the restaurant, the scene immediately changes to the end of the the date, and it's time to take Michelle home. If you press your luck again, this time Michelle cautiously agrees, triggering a cutscene: the camera pans around Michelle's house, while she moans and yells exclamations about how good of a talker you are.

Note: This unlocked the Warm Coffee Achievement

Fourth Date For the fourth date, we took Michelle to the fast food restaurant. When the date ended, we pressed our luck again, and she accepted, triggering a similar cutscene as before. It looks like at this point Michelle is starting to like and trust Niko.

Fifth Date For the fifth date, we took Michelle to play pool at the pool hall. This triggered the pool minigame. While playing, you use L to line the pool cue left to right, using the virtual path coordinator to help you. When ready, press A to proceed to the next part. You can press X to slow down the movement of the virtual path coordinator, to add finishing touches to your choice. When ready, press R up and down, faster or slower depending on how hard you want to hit the ball.

• Michelle ended up winning, but she is beatable. When we arrived back at her house, we pressed our luck and were successful yet again.
