In the highly anticipated GTA IV, Karen is the receptionist of the Goldberg, Ligner & Shyster law firm during the Final Interview mission.
Niko Bellic first meets Karen after setting up an interview with Goldberg, Ligner & Shyster. Francis McReary, who is blackmailing Niko, forces Niko to kill Tom Goldberg, a partner in the firm and steal files from his office. In order to gain access to Goldberg, Niko submits his resume to the firm in seek of a position. Karen calls Niko to confirm the interview and greets him when he arrives at the office.
It is also rumored that once unlocking the feature by completing missions for Patrick "Packie" McReary, Nico can date Karen once.
