  • As in previous Grand Theft Auto titles, the main character Niko Bellic can buy different clothes throughout the game. Some of the choices are personal preference, while others are required to complete certain missions.

Some missions, such as Final Interview, require Niko to dress a certain way. The gameplay of other missions can change depending on how Niko is dressed. For example, in the mission Flatline, Niko needs to assassinate somebody in Westside Memorial Hospital. He can steal some hospital scrubs to complete the mission stealthily or he can charge in with guns blazing.
