As of March 28, 2008, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is officially referred to as Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Spec II, the software's version 2.0 title. This upgrade requires an additional "spec II" update installation that was released in North America on April 15, 2008 on Blu-ray Disc and will be released on April 17 via Playstation Store. The Blu-ray Disc "spec II" version contains an exclusive GT-TV video feature called "Beyond the Apex".
