Grammy Red Carpet

The event airs live on CBS from Los Angeles' Staples Center. Grammy nominations were announced on December 1, 2010, with rapper Eminem snagging the most nominations,with 10. Bruno Mars was nominated for seven awards. Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, and Lady Antebellum each earned six nominations.

Nicki Minaj wore a dress by Givenchy with cheetah print and a dramatic bell skirt with cut outs on her left arm. The dress was paired with the same print leggings and matching ankle boots, as well as a blond . Minaj described the dress, made specially for her, as "lioness meets her cub meet fierce-ocity, meets fabulocity." 

Lady Gaga arrived inside a semi-transparent egg carried by multiple people in gold revealing outfits. A representative explained that the artist was incubating for three hours before her performance during the show. This is an example of the dedication to her craft, the rep said. Gaga is nominated for six awards this year. 

Singer Ciara appeared in a revealing dress that had a high slit up the leg as well as cut outs around the neck and back. This E! Entertainment footage shows the dress in complete 360 view showing the immense detail of the dress. 

The social media maven and reality star Kim Kardashian appeared on the Red carpet in a Kaufman Franco design. She took the dress to a tailor who caused a "fashion emergency" by making the dress too small for the famously well endowed woman.
