Grammy Awards

The Grammy Awards show is an annual televised awards program produced by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to recognize achievements in the music recording industry.

The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at Los Angeles' Staples Center. This year's Grammy Nominations were announced on Dec. 1, 2010 on CBS during a special televised concert/nomination-announcement program hosted by LL Cool J. Last year's ceremony was held on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010. Taylor Swift snagged Album of the Year for Fearless and Kings of Leon took home Record of the Year for the song "Use Somebody." Performers included Pink who defied gravity with a Cirque du Soleil-inspired aerial act while singing "Glitter in the Air," and Beyonce who sang "If I Were a Boy" and covered Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know."
