The 2009 ceremony was held on Sunday, February 8. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss won Album of the Year for Raising Sand and Record of the Year for the song "Please Read the Letter." Adele was recognized as Best New Artist. Coldplay won Song of the Year for writing "Viva La Vida."
The 52nd Annual Emmy Awards are scheduled for late January or early February 2010
