Early Life
Grady Sizemore was born in Seattle, Washington, on August 2, 1982. He later attended Cascade High School. In 2000, he was selected by the Montreal Expos in the third round of the Major League Baseball draft. In 2002, he was traded to the Cleveland Indians with Cliff Lee, Lee Stevens and Brandon Phillips for Tim Drew and Bartolo Colon.Baseball-Reference.com: Macay McBridePro Career
On July 21, 2004, Sizemore made his MLB debut with the Cleveland Indians. In his first season with the Indians, Sizemore appeared in 43 games and finished with a .246 batting average.
