Grace tells the story of Madeline Matheson, played by Jordan Ladd. Madeline is an expectant mother who insists on a natural childbirth. Her feelings are not shared by her controlling mother-in- law and a conflicted husband. When Michael is killed in a tragic car accident and Madeline's unborn baby is presumed killed in the same accident, Madeline insists on carrying the stillborn baby to full term. When Madeline miraculously gives birth to a seemingly healthy baby girl named Grace, she brings the newborn home determined to give the girl a normal life. But when health issues arrive, they foreshadow something more sinister.
