Plot Summary
Grace Is Gone is about a father (John Cusack) whose wife is killed in the Iraq War. Unsure how to break the news to his two daughters (Shelan O'Keefe and Gracie Bednarczyk), he takes them on a road trip to a theme park, allowing them a few more moments of happiness before telling them the sad news.Along the way, they meet up with family members who know about what happened, but Cusack's character makes it a point to keep the news under wraps, which is in itself a struggle.
