Goran Visnjic

Goran Visnjic is a Croatian theatre, film and television actor. He recently left the hit NBC medical drama series ER, where he portrayed Dr. Luka Kovac for nine years. Before being cast in ER, Visnjic had several speaking roles in American films and prior to that he had roles in the foreign films Vidimo se, Michele va alla guerra, Paranoja and Braca po materi.

Visnjic's other American acting credits include Night Watch, Welcome to Sarajevo, The Peacemaker', Rounders, Practical Magic, The Deep End, Spartacus, Elektra and Ice Age.

Visnjic can next be seen in Helen., New York, I Love You, Jane Austen Handheld, and Miss Irena's Children", all of which are either currently in-production or filming.

Goran Visnjic is married to a Croatian sculptor, Ivana Vrdoljak, who is the daughter of filmmaker Antun Vrdoljak. Together the couple adopted a little boy named Tin. Visnjic also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
