Republican Congressman John Carter of Texas introduced a resolution on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives to remove Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) from his position of Ways and Means Chairman. The GOP cites the ethics charges facing the Congressman such as failing to report income from a vacation home and falsely filing his personal financial disclosure as reasons for the resolution. Democrats are expected to table the resolution, saying that they will wait until the House report on Rep. Rangel is issued.http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1009/28030.html
