Google Music is soon-to-be launched service from Google. Google will partner with ilike and Lala for the Google music service according to an announcement made on October 28, 2009. iTunes, from Apple, is the major competitor Google Music will face in US. However, Google enjoys a good reputation and strong following through it's search service.
It is quite imminent that Google is about to launch the new Google Music. It is worth mentioning here that it should not be mistaken with the Google China Music Download Services. Here Music could be downloaded through payment. Moreover, it can be streamed online.
