Google Me is a 96 minute movie about events that took place after Jim Killeen Googled his own name.
Googling His Name
In August of 2006, failed Los Angeles actor Jim Killeen wanted to boost his ego a little bit. He has never been married before and has no children. When his acting career failed, he launched his own business providing chair massages in poker halls charging one dollar an hour. He felt like a zero.
Killeen googled his name because he wanted "something in his life to be reflected back to him." His search led him to discover many other men that shared his name.
Jim Killeen's Journey
Killeen decided to travel to meet these other Jim Killeens. He interviewed seven of them discovering the connections between a person's name and, apparently, the "underlying human condition that unites us all."
Killeen explored the lifestyles that the other Jim Killeens lived and asked each of them the same set of 30 questions. At the end of his journey, he brought all of the Jim Killeens together. Killeen concluded that a person's name is just a name and it doesn't define who they are.
