Mail Goggles is a new feature from Google, introduced in the experimental Google Labs space, aimed at preventing Gmail users from sending embarrassing messages while intoxicated. When enabled, the system "tests" a user with a series of simple questions, to determine their relative sobriety and state of mind, before allowing an e-mail to be sent. By default, the system is only active on weekend nights (10 p.m. to 4 a.m.), but users can adjust and customize this schedule.

- "It's that time of day. Gmail aims to help you in many ways. Are you sure you want to send this? Answer some simple math problems to verify."
