Plot Summary
Massachusetts Institute of Technology janitor Will Hunting (Matt Damon) is intellectually gifted, but his impoverished background and rebellious nature have prevented him from attending college. After he anonymously solves a difficult math problem left on a classroom blackboard, Professor Lambeau (Stellan Skarsgard) recognizes his brilliance and seeks him out. To escape the consequences of yet another run-in with the law, Hunting agrees to see a therapist and attend weekly educational sessions with Lambeau.Cast
