Gone with the Wind is an epic American movie centering on the romance between Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler during the American Civil War.
The film was produced in 1939 and directed by Victor Fleming, who also directed The Wizard of Oz. Gone with the Wind is based on a 1936 novel written by Margaret Mitchell.
