50 Cars, in Three Days

Nicolas Cage plays Memphis Raines, a retired car thief. His brother Kip, played by Giovanni Ribisi, follows in Memphis' footsteps and steals cars as well. Memphis is summoned out of retirement one day when one of Kip's boosts goes wrong and his life is being held in jeopardy by crime boss Raymond Calitri, played by Christopher Eccleston. Calitri makes a deal with Memphis, that he will spare Kip's life if Memphis can steal 50 rare and hard to find cars in three days. One of the cars on the list is a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500, a car that Memphis has never been able to successfully steal in his career. Memphis agrees and assembles a team for the job. They spend the first two and a half days finding and researching the cars on the list, then use the remaining 12 hours to attempt to steal all 50 cars.
