Golf Clubs are the essential equipment used to play the game of Golf. A variety of clubs complete a set. Each set has a number of clubs which each serve a specific purpose. The driver is used to strike the ball long distances towards the green, while Irons are used for medium shots. A wedge is for specialized shots throughout the course. The chipper is used for shots 10 to 20 yards from the hole, while the putter is used for close shots around the hole and played strictly on the ground.
Types of Clubs
1. Irons: For Medium Shots at the Green
2. Wedges: Used for short distance, high accuracy shots

  2. Gap Wedge
  3. Chipping Wedge
  4. Pitching Wedge
3. Drivers: Used to drive the ball long distances towards the green
4. Putter: Designed for use in close proximity of the hole
5. Chipper: Used in the last 10 to 20 yards to the hole
Parts of the Golf Club
1. Shaft: The long tube connecting from the Grip to the Clubhead
2. Grip: The handle of the golf club
3. Ferrule: The ring on top of the Hosel
4. Clubhead: Area of the club which strikes the ball
5. Hosel: Area which connects the Clubhead to the Shaft
