The title character of Goldfinger, Auric Goldfinger, played by Gert Frobe, is one of the greatest villains in the history of the James Bond franchise. Sean Connery's Bond must figure out a way to thwart the miser's dastardly plan to increase his stockpile of gold's worth by irradiating all the gold in Fort Knox. Goldfinger's gorgeous personal pilot Pussy Galore, played by Honor Blackman, switches her loyalty after Bond seduces her. 007 plays golf, wrangles hat-throwing henchman Odd Job, beds ladies who end up painted gold, and motors about in the iconic Bond car, his Aston Martin DB5.
