GoldenEye 007

GoldenEye 007 is a first-person shooter game for the N64. It is based on the 1995 James Bond movie GoldenEye. The game was very well relieved and sold over 8 million copies.

The gameplay and story line follow along the GoldenEye movie plot. Players must make their way through each level and complete assigned objectives. As levels are beat additional levels are opened up. Throughout the game there cut scenes that give additional information on the story and objectives.

Some of the success of this title can be attributed to the high level of game play found in the multi-player levels. All players and enemies are available to play with on several multi-player themed levels. Before starting a death match the player can set options including weapons types used and game style. One such style called "The Man with the Golden Gun" places only one gun on the level that each player must find in order to win.
