Gohan (also Son Gohan) is a fictional character in the manga and anime TV series Dragon Ball Z and the anime TV Series Dragon Ball GT. He is the son of protagonist Goku.

Brief Background
Gohan is a fictional character of Akira Toriyama. He is the son of Goku, the protagonist of the Dragon Ball franchise. He is the first species of half saiyan and half humans.
The Dragon Ball series follows the growth of Gohan from a small child to adulthood. He begins as a child who is able to achieve super saiyan status much earlier than his father Goku. But he briefly turns away from the life of a warrior, wishing to pursue his studies on earth. However, he is pulled back into fighting villains who wish to destroy earth and grow into the role of a hero as he develops in age. He has one younger brother, Goten.
