God of War Chains of Olympus Trailer

This page is a collection of God of War: Chains of Olympus Trailers, videos and developer interviews. God of War: Chains of Olympus is an action-adventure game for the PSP and is a prequel to the God of War series. The game developed by Ready at Dawn Studios, exclusively for the Sony PSP handheld video game console. It is created by David Jaffee, who also created God of War and God of War 2. The game is a prequel to the original game, and is set midway through the 10 year service to the Greek gods. Kratos uses godlike weapons, including his trademark ‘’Blades of Chaos’’ and the ‘’Gauntlet of Zeus’’, to battle battle monsters, gods and demigods from Greek mythology to carry out orders of his Olympian masters.

At the start of the game, Kratos is sent to Attica, to defend the city against invading Persians. Kratos chases a basilisk along the city walls, and during the chase, kills the Persian King. After defeating the basilisk, the sun falls from the sky, plunging the world in darkness. Kratos then journeys through the city of Marathon, to the Temple of Helios. Kratos is then ordered to find missing Helios. During his search, Kratos is haunted by images and sounds from his daughter Calliope. Eventually, Kratos has to choose between his godlike powers and being reunited with his daughter. He chooses to be united with his daughter, losing all of his powers and strength. He then learns about his true adversary, Persephone, and has to abandon her again, to once more become ‘’Ghost of Sparta’’. A tormented Kratos persues Persephone, in an attempt to save the lives of himself, his daughter, and all humanity.
