God of War 3 is the fifth installment in the God of War franchise and the third in the main series. The game has been confirmed to be a PS3-exclusive due for release in March 2010. Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed that this will be the final installment of the God of War franchise.

About the Game
In March 2007, prior to leaving Sony, God of War II game director Cory Barlog confirmed that God of War 3 was in development. He revealed that the game would run at full 1080p HD resolution and would support the PS3 controller's tilt and vibration functions. Gameplay
God of War 3 promises to even better than its' predecessors. With a world that is four times larger than previous installments serious gamers can enjoy longer playtime. Currently Sony has confirmed only two weapons, the cestus and the Blades of Athena. However, this go around these weapons will be able to smash through solid items and Kratos will be able to fight in new and interesting ways. Additionally, many mythological-inspired creatures in the world can now be manipulated and ridden by Kratos which will aid in attacks. -
