  • Domain seller Go Daddy will air a thirty second ad during Super Bowl XLIII. Two different commercials have been approved and they announced that only one would air, but in a surprise move, both ads aired. The commercial was a shower scene with Indy race car driver and Go Daddy spokeswoman Danica Patrick. Three college students watch on as anything they want appears on screen including 'steamy' Ms. Schmidt from their dean's office.

    The 2009 Go Daddy commercial opens with a college student explaining to his two friends that after his domain purchase that it has allowed him to make any wish appear on screen. Danica Patrick appears as she walks into a bathroom with a silk robe loosely tied and exclaims "Suddenly I have an urge to take a shower again. This is my fifth one today." Overly excited the student yells "keep watching" to his friends as they decide to make Ms. Schmidt, a German woman from their dean's office, appear. With Patrick still in the shower, a woman with glasses jumps in frame with the ad then cutting to a black screen directing the viewers over to their official site with unrated content available.
