Reviews

"The 2008 GMC Envoy gains standard curtain side airbags and trims down its model lineup. This five-passenger midsize SUV is a traditional truck-type design that is shared with the Chevrolet TrailBlazer, Isuzu Ascender, and Saab 9-7X."Consumer Guide AutoConsumer Guide: 2008 GMC Envoy (July 31, 2008)

"Among midsize SUVs, the GMC Envoy gets lost in the pack. It has all the right features to compete in this segment, as well as a comfortable ride and decent power. But, you have to weigh this against the Envoy's sloppy handing and below-average interior build and materials quality."EdmundsConsumer Guide: GMC Envoy Review

"GM's mid-size SUV is spread across lots of brands (Chevrolet, GMC, and Isuzu) but regardless of the name, the truck is basically the same. It comes in only a short-wheelbase edition with rear- or four-wheel drive. Stability control is standard but otherwise, this SUV is showing its age."—Car and DriverCar and Driver: 2008 GMC Envoy
