Born in Havana, Cuba, on September 1, 1957, Gloria Estefan is a Grammy award winning Cuban American singer who has sold over 90 million albums worldwide. She has been nominated for fourteen Grammy awards since her career began in 1984, winning a total of seven. Estefan's last number one hit was the 1991 single "Coming Out of the Dark."
