  • Gloria Estefan is a multi Grammy award winning Cuban American singer who has sold over 90 million albums worldwide. She has been nominated for fourteen Grammy's since her career began in 1984 and she has won seven. Estefan's last number one hit was the 1991 single "Coming Out of the Dark." The song was inspired by the recovery from a near-fatal crash she was in while on her "Get On Your Feet Tour."

    Estefan announced in early March of 2009 that her upcoming Latin American tour will be her last as she wants to focus more on her daughter as well as her writing and film careers. Her tour starts on April 9, 2009, and will end on April 23rd.PerezHilton: Goodbye, South America! (March 3, 2009)
