Globalization is a process in which isolated or localized phenomena expand to a worldwide scale. The term is commonly used to describe the economic or political growth of a country, company or other specific entity. Globalization can also describe a sociological process wherein local traditions or practices are rejected in favor of adopting international ones instead.
