Glider Rockers

    • Often referred to as a "luxury rocking chair" because of its ease of use and even smoother motion
    • Most popularly used in nurseries
    • Usually padded or cushioned
    • Gliding ottomans also available
    • Rotary gliders also available that add a swiveling capability
  • Glider rocking chairs can glide back and forth due to their use of braces underneath the chair that allow for a gentle swinging motion. The movement mechanism is usually hidden under the chair and covered by the sides and back of the chair.
  • Safety Warning

While glider rockers are typically safer than traditional rocking chairs, injury can still occur. Children and pets should be closely monitored around glider rockers so that fingers, toes or tails do not become caught underneath the chair.
