  • Glenn Frey is an American rock musician and a member of The Eagles. Frey is a vocalist, guitarist and a songwriter, who helped write Eagles' hits such as "Take It Easy," "Witchy Woman" and "Desperado."

After The Eagles disbanded, Frey launched a solo career with the albums "No Fun Aloud" and "The Allnighter". His greatest solo success came with the single "The Heat Is On" in 1985, which reached the top ten after appearing in the movie Beverly Hills Cop. Frey also wrote "Smuggler's Blues," which inspired an episode of Miami Vice on which he then made a guest appearance. This led to some further acting work, but Glenn Frey remained primarily a musician.

In 2007 The Eagles re-united to produce a new album, Long Road out of Eden. Frey continues to tour with the band.
