Comedy Show
In April 2009, Beck announced that he would be going on the road to perform a comedy routine. Known as the "poor man's Seinfeld", Beck will do a six-night live show starting on June 1, 2009, in Denver, Colorado. Obama's "Change:" Socialism
On February 4, 2009, Glenn Beck aired a segment on his FOX News show in which he energetically proclaimed Barack Obama is leading America towards Socialism and ultimately Communism. In the clip, Beck states, "If we're going to go down the road to Socialism, why not really go for it," followed by a graphic showing "Capitalism" being smashed and Socialism and Communism taking its place. During the rest of the segment, Russian-sounding music played in the background, while Beck proclaimed, "Comrades! Good news from the western front. Our glorious revolution is taking hold."
