Glenn Beck was hospitalized for five days following what was supposed to be an outpatient hemorrhoid surgery. Unbearable pain, and complications with pain medication caused Beck to describe his hospital experience as "...one of the darker moments in my life." He will return to his broadcast duties on January 7, 2008.
