Glen Murray

    Murray began his career with the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League in 1989. He was drafted 18th overall in the 1991 NHL Draft by the Boston Bruins. He made his NHL debut that same year, playing five games with the Bruins. A 1995 trade sent him to the Pittsburgh Penguins where he played nearly two seasons. Murray was then traded to the Los Angeles Kings in 1997. Shortly after the 2001-02 season began, Murray was traded back to his original team, the Boston Bruins. The following year Murray had his statically best season, playing all 82 regular season games and totaling 44 goals and 48 assists. He was also selected for his first NHL All-Star Game selection that same year, 2003. He took the year off during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout, but since returned as a veteran member of the Bruins.
