Glen Gibson of Pickens County, Georgia, is on trial for the murder of his wife, Keri Gibson, even though the autopsy reports lists her death as a suicide.
Keri Gibson suicide?
Keri Gibson died on January 21, 2007. The cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. Investigators believed her death a suicide, but later charged Gibson with murder. Gibson's attorney, Scott Robinson, argued that a suicide note was found in a trash can and the gun that killed Keri was found in her father's home. Prosecutors claims that gunshot residue was found on Gibson's gloves and clothing. They also say that the angle of the path of the bullet would be inconsistent with a suicide. They believe the murder was made to look like a suicide.
