History
A missionary named St. Kentigern (St. Mongo) first arrived in Glasgow in 543 AD. His purpose was to plant churches. Its attenders became the city's early settlers. Throughout the century, Glasgow bloomed into a successful city. Then by 20th century, because of industrial decline, the city shifted to become Scotland's chief attractions for tourist instead. -
