The GLAAD Media Awards honors television shows, films, and other media for their positive impact on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. GLAAD reached an agreement with Bravo to hold the first airing of the awards ceremony on that network in 2008. The winners will be announced at three different awards ceremonies taking place in New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
