Girls Gone Wild (GGW) is a pornographic film franchise consisting of over 70 separate titles. It was founded by Joe Francis, under the guise of Mantra Films. In the films, young women are filmed exposing themselves and/or engaging in sexual activity in public, usually in the midst of large annual parties. These events include Spring Break in Florida or Mardi Gras in New Orleans. The series made Joe Francis a multimillionaire, although Francis has come under legal scrutiny lately for tax evasion, child abuse, prostitution, and drug possession.
