The November 1, 2008 episode of Saturday Night Live featured a short, 2-minute skit about Giraffes. The skit was introduced as a Staten Island Zoo promo wherein a group of high schoolers submitted a documentary about giraffes. In the sketch, the video was submitted by the Staten Island Technical High School. The so-called "documentary" turned out to be a heavy metal music video about giraffes complete with extreme video animation but bereft of much actual fact..Saturday Night Live Video: Giraffes!
